On 2nd October 2025, I hosted my very first wreath-making class from my home, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better! Four lovely ladies joined me for an autumn and Halloween-themed workshop, and together we spent the evening surrounded by laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of foliage.
The table was piled high with orange and gold leaves, pumpkins, ribbons, berries, and spooky little accents, ready to be transformed into something magical. Each guest arrived with their own ideas and personality, and it was so much fun watching those ideas come to life on their wreaths.

We started with a quick chat about balance and composition, exploring how to distribute colour and texture, so the wreath feels harmonious (not lopsided, unless that’s the look you’re going for!).
I also introduced a bit of colour theory, showing how warm tones like amber and rust pair beautifully with deep purples, blacks, and greens to create that rich autumn feel.
Then came the hands-on bit, attaching everything securely to the base.
I demonstrated a few different techniques to make sure each wreath would last well beyond Halloween, and before long, everyone was confidently wiring, gluing, and tying their decorations into place.
The results were absolutely stunning, and so different! Each wreath reflected its maker’s style, from elegant and understated to bold and delightfully spooky. I couldn’t have asked for a better first class or a more creative bunch of participants.
Here are some of the gorgeous creations from the night:
Hosting this workshop has definitely lit a spark for me, I loved seeing people relax, get creative, and walk away with something they were genuinely proud of. I’m already planning the next one (I’m thinking winter/Christmas themes next 🎄).
If you fancy joining in for the next session, keep an eye out on https://www.hausofbeka.com/workshops, spaces will be limited, but the fun definitely won’t be!
