Silver Jewellery Workshop

Join me in my York home studio for an intimate silversmithing workshop for one or two people. You’ll learn the essentials of jewellery making, including how to use the tools for sawing, shaping, soldering, sanding, and polishing your own design.
We’ll start by practising in copper to build your confidence before creating your final piece in silver, whether that’s a simple ring, earrings or a pendant you’ll treasure.
Silversmithing can be an expensive hobby to get into, so this is a great way to try it out and use my well-equipped workspace without the cost of buying everything yourself.
Each session is relaxed, hands-on, and beginner-friendly, giving you the chance to learn new skills and leave with something beautiful and personal that you made yourself.
Please note: For safety reasons, workshops involving chemicals or sharp tools aren’t suitable for children. I hold full public liability insurance through the Guild of Jewellery Designers, giving you complete peace of mind while you create. Costs for this workshop can fluctuate due to recent rapid change in precious metal costs.
