A New Adventure Awaits

This Thursday, 16th October, I packed up my potions and pretties for something new. I held my very first resin jewelry workshop out in the wild! It took place at the brilliant HiHo Club in York. This was also the first time I’ve ever run a workshop anywhere other than my own little creative cave.

And honestly? It was pure magic. ✨

The Creative Vibes

The group that came along were absolute stars. Everyone was enthusiastic, creative, and totally up for getting stuck in (and a little bit sparkly). There was that perfect mix of chatter, concentration, and excited “oohs” as people poured, swirled, and sprinkled their way to some seriously gorgeous pieces. Watching everyone’s ideas come to life was the best part for me. Seeing them leave genuinely proud of what they’d made filled my heart with joy.

Lessons Learned

Of course, no first outing would be complete without a few lessons learned. Let’s just say I won’t forget to tell people the password for the speakeasy-style venue next time… whoops! But overall, it went so smoothly that I came away grinning from ear to ear.

A Glamorous Setting

The cocktails were flowing, the venue was giving full-on 1920s prohibition glamour, and the vibes were spot on. It was relaxed, creative, and exactly the kind of energy I’d hoped for when I dreamed up the Haus of Beka Crafty Witches workshop.
