Suspended in Animation Precious Gems

These handmade pendants suspend colourful semi-precious stone chips in clear resin, creating the impression of tiny fragments frozen in liquid or time. The idea draws on my fascination with objects preserved in suspension and the visual language of contemporary works such as Jeff Koons’ equilibrium pieces.

The collection brings together garnet, agate, goldstone, green aventurine, fluorite, crystal and other complementary stones. Their rich colours and natural textures are set within geometric and organic-shaped open bezels, allowing light, skin or fabric to show through the resin.

Each pendant is individually composed and finished with a coordinating nickel-free alloy chain in gold, silver or antique-bronze tones. No two arrangements are quite the same.
