Dendritic Agate Pendant

A stone that grows its own miniature forest, veins of manganese branching soundlessly through milky blue-grey chalcedony long before anyone thought to call it agate. Set in a hand-fabricated 925 silver bezel with the back left open rather than closed, so that light becomes part of the setting, passing straight through the stone and catching every dendrite from within. Its name comes from the Greek dendron, tree, and it wears the word honestly. Small in scale, quietly extraordinary in effect, and entirely singular, no two dendrites ever branch the same way twice.
